AbstractThe phenomenon of low father involvement in modern families is one of the factors suspected of influencing the development of emotional intelligence of Generation Z. In the perspective of Islamic parenting, fathers have a role as qawwam, educators, as well as role models in shaping children's character and emotional regulation. This study aims to analyze the influence of father involvement in Islamic parenting on the emotional intelligence of Generation Z. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 110 Muslim Generation Z respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics. The results showed that father involvement in Islamic parenting had a positive and significant effect on the emotional intelligence of Generation Z (t = 5.887; Sig. = 0.000). The regression model produces a regression coefficient of 0.281 with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.243, which means that father involvement contributes 24.3% to the variation in emotional intelligence of Generation Z. This study concludes that the higher the father's involvement in Islamic parenting, the higher the emotional intelligence of Generation Z. This finding strengthens the importance of the father's role in parenting based on Islamic values as an effort to support the emotional development of the younger generation.
