Abstract

This study aims to explore efforts to integrate tradition and modernity in the management of Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Blokaggung. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research analyzes how the pesantren balances the learning of traditional religious texts (kitab kuning) with the demands of an increasingly modern era. The findings show that the pesantren successfully integrates both aspects by adopting a balanced curriculum, applying the values of Iman Gojali, and utilizing technology in the learning process. However, the study also identifies several challenges, such as updating the competencies of educators and limited resources. These findings contribute significantly to understanding the sustainability of pesantren education in the global era.
